How To RSS Feed

RSS feeds have been around for a long time and are, among many other places, built into every website created with WordPress. Here is a short video on RSS feeds and how they work.

An RSS feed is basically an inverse newsletter; instead of me pushing new content onto you, your RSS reader automatically pulls content from my page. It’s like a personal assistant that checks all your favorite blogs, podcasts and news outlets for you. And I don’t even need to store your e-mail for it.

To subscribe to an RSS feed, you need an RSS reader. Most people use one of these web apps, but RSS readers also come built-in with some e-mail clients, like Mozilla Thunderbird.
